Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

Do you feel like something is not quite right in your life right now? Perhaps there is something about yourself, the way you feel, or your personal relationships that you would like to change? You may be feeling anxious, sad or depressed and taking that first step may seem difficult. Psychotherapy may be of help to you.

I provide therapy for a number of conditions, including anxiety and depression, trauma, personality disorders, addictions, relationship issues, eating disorders, workplace stress and bereavement. Increasingly, many people access therapy to maintain their personal well being and to help with the stresses of everyday life.

I trained at WPF Therapy and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton as well as a BA (Hons) LSE. I follow the ethical codes and practice of the FPC and the UKCP. Previously I worked in financial services and also train befrienders of those in suicidal crisis for a charity.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy is grounded in the belief that our current states of mind and how we relate to others are based on unconscious processes. These often originate from our earlier experiences of life, particularly childhood. Being in therapy allows you to start understanding your motivations, as well as giving you the chance to identify the patterns of thinking and behaviour that may no longer be serving you well. Through the therapeutic relationship change becomes possible..

Please email me if you are interested in Counselling Services Bromley, we could then arrange a first session to discuss your needs. After this if you are happy to continue, we would arrange ongoing weekly sessions.

Fees are £90 per 50 minute session in Belgravia and £70 for counselling services Bromley.
